I am in a rut, my restaurant needs new desserts, and I’ve been bored. creativity is going to awaken me. starting my clients dress in about 2 weeks. In the meantime i am putting together all the sketches for another 8 piece bridal collection. I plan on showing some dresses in November at a wedding salon event, this will be a goal to kick off doing an entire collection and get myself some more clients.
this collection is more romantic and flowing, minimal structural design. champagnes and vintage whites.. lots of lace!!! pin tucking, fluting, weaving, magic
and you better believe there will be cage veils and red lipstick
Ive been trying to network a little more at different events, I’m going to check out the wedding salons show tomorrow to see what to expect for the future. met with an advertising person from the knot today for lunch to talk about future plans and how i am being received through their site.
spring needs to come sooner so I can change my pastry menu and use berries. so many ideas, and i have to wait for season to start.

think out of the box when it comes to your wedding dress, no one says you have to look like every other bride.
(I would like 2 weddings please and this as one of my dresses)
the ruffle actually detaches to reveal a simple strapless bodice and an A-line dress.
